Paul Spanring BA (Hons) is our Minister. He comes from Austria and has been in  Cheddar since 2004. His studies have included a diploma at All Nations Christian College and he trained for the ministry at Bristol Baptist College. He has now been awarded his PhD for his thesis comparing the responses of Dietrich Bonhoeffer and Koester [two German theologians] to the Nazi regime during the war. So he is now our Reverend Doctor! His wife, Susie, teaches music, but plays with words, paint and clay whenever she can. As a family they have been involved in Christian work and outreach in Austria, Micronesia and Africa.  The photo shows the family on a camping holiday.... in the rain!
